Basketmouth estranged wife Elsie Uzoma: Elsie Uzoma, the estranged wife of popular Nigerian comedian, Basketmouth has taken to social media to finally speaks following her divorce.

Remember how comedian Basketmouth, real name Bright Okpocha, caused a stir on social media in December 2022 when he announced the dissolution of his 12-year marriage to his wife, with whom he shares three (3) children. The post has since been deleted.

However, in a recent video shared via her official Instagram page today, January 6th, 2023 Elsie advised Nigerian to stop marriage-shaming women.

According to the Basketmouth estranged wife, it’s in the part of the world that people talk so much about women not being marriage at a certain age and by extension uttered that it’s unfair to the female gender.

She claims that many questions are posed to women, such as “Why don’t you get married at this age?” At your age, won’t you just give birth to one? are uncool since women can marry themselves.

Elsie continued by saying that a woman might not be prepared for marriage for a variety of reasons, such as taking her time or not having found the perfect guy.

Not content with that, Basketmouth’s ex-wife continued, “Marriage is an institution, and as lovely as it is, it can be incredibly challenging.” He continued by saying that if someone rushes in, they would undoubtedly run out.

She went on to say that people should learn to leave women alone if they are not prepared for marriage by a certain age, particularly in Nigeria and other nations. Basketmouth estranged wife Elsie Uzoma
